My Daily Walk With Christ

My daily walk begins with a prayer of
thanksgiving for all His blessings. I
ask God for assistance in any trials and tribulations that I might face during
the day. These prayers are for Gods
blessings and assistance. They always
include participation by my young son and my mother. The following poem by Shirley Hile Powell clearly expresses my
sentiments.
He leads me
throughout the day and answers all my prayers.
He is my
life's salvation - I know He is always there.
Though toil
and turmoil come to me, I know it is part of life.
With his
strength to help guide me, I can make it through the strife.
My soul cries
from hunger that only He can fill.
Every day I
try my very best to do His holy will.
Our God is
kind and merciful He lives within you and me,
and never
tires of helping us to be the best that we can be.
My heart is
filled with love and joy because He leads the way.
I pray to
always follow Him and never chance to stray.
